Contents

  • You will receive an overview of the rules of good scientific practice (GSP). We will familiarize you with the DFG Code of Conduct “Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice”, the local statutes of the OVGU and international guidelines.
  • For the areas of data management and authorship & publishing, we will highlight the most important aspects of GSP in more detail. Using case studies, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your own knowledge and values and practise making responsible decisions.
  • You will learn about the ombudsman system and find out how to deal with conflicts in your day-to-day research and where you can get help and advice.

Terms of participation & Registration

This workshop is free of charge and open to PhD students and postdocs at OVGU and the MPI. Registration for this workshop is via the MPI’s booking system.
